This NEEWER Z880-S flash for the Sony camera system is a very nice piece of gear, it has an excellent feature set and performs really well. The Guide Number of 60 and with 76 W/S power output it's plenty capable when compared to others in this class. IT has all the standard features like the diffuser lens, retractable bounce card, modeling lamp, an excellent screen with nice clear user interface and it comes with rechargeable battery, charger, base/stand and a nice magnetic mount dome/diffuser. It offers all of the standard modes (TTO, Manual, Multi, etc.) supports 1/8000 second High Speed sync, 20-200 mm zoom range and 1/80to to 1/20,000th second flash duration making if quite flexible for various lighting needs. The dedicated TCM switch allowing you to instantly switch modes is a nice feature as well. The rechargeable battery is so much more convenient and better performing than relying on AA batteries that some flashes still use. It also is compatible with the NEEWER 2.4 GHz Q communications system which adds a great deal of flexibility for remote connectivity and triggering and makes it very easy to incorporate into a larger lighting system.. Lastly, the build quality of the flash is excellent and the overall look is nice and clean and aesthetically pleasing. This is an excellent high quality speed light with a load of features and all the latest tricks and I would recommend it.

I honestly bought this because of the Profoto appearance of the UI. The quality was pretty standard for speed lights and is all plastic but heavy. The color accuracy was pretty spot on and was plenty bright for the inside use I used it for. In terms of the new UI and function? I loved it. I hope all speed lights move to this kid of big digital UI because it looks far more professional to clients.

This is a fully featured speed light that works perfectly with my Sony A99 body. It fit perfectly into the shoe and was up and running in literally seconds. I'm not going to simply regurgitate the specs, but suffice it to say I am delighted with this speed light. The biggest standout feature is by far the price. I have paid multiple times the asking price for Sony branded speed lights that works just as well as this one.For a fully customizable, expandable, and uniformly compatible speed light such as this one I feel the price of $240 is quite fair, but a bit high. I would be happier with it around $200, but would definitely choose this one over one with the same specs for $800!
