This review is for the Neewer FL-A76 Polarizer. It is a linear polarizer, so you do have to rotate the filter to find the optimum orientation to reduce specular reflections. This can be difficult depending on where the camera is mounted and what you are doing at the time.I found orienting the filter with the “PL” label at the top worked best for glare coming off water. I did notice an off-white tint to the remaining highlights, so the filter is not completely colour neutral. It is just something to be aware of in case you are planning to use it for critical work.

Not much to say, its a good PL glass filter that fits snugly.It does what it it is supposed to do, reduce the reflections!

Action cameras that are water proofing may only need a silicone housing fto mitigate crash scuffing.This PL filter works well and when to use and how often or permanently is still to be determined for my purposes. Usually used on the water in the sun.The lens pops off when the silicone protector gets pulled on.I'm thinking either a Hero 13 proper lens with filter that locks in, or permanently super glue to the factory removable lense.As I get finicky or obsessive with how the PL filter works for me, then I'll know the best solution.For now, this is a PL filter learning process.

This Filter for Hero 13 is a solid addition to my GoPro Hero 13 setup. The multi-coated HD optical glass is clear and provides noticeable improvements in reducing glare and enhancing color contrast in certain outdoor settings. It’s perfect for action shots and bright environments, which is exactly what I was looking for. However, the instructions for use could have been a bit clearer, especially when it comes to adjusting the polarizer for optimal effect. It took a little trial and error, but once I figured it out, the filter worked great. It’s definitely a useful accessory for anyone looking to improve their shots in bright or reflective conditions. Overall, I’m happy with it, though there’s a bit of a learning curve.
