UPDATE: The company sent a very nice reply and offered to send me replacement springs :-) So my review is now 5-stars again! It is the best pooper scooper. I have tried 4 others- purchased from Amazon or locally and they each broke within a year or so. This one is still going strong after about 18 months with daily use for 3-4 dogs. So if your springs break and you cannot find adequate replacements, contact the company, be patient, and they will help you out. I highly recommend this scooper.I really liked the scoop- it worked well and is very sturdy. Except for the springs.One of the two springs broke, and the only replacement spring I could find locally was not as tight as the original. But it worked "good enough" in tandem with the other existing spring. That is until the second one broke shortly after. The two "looser" springs I have now are not strong enough for the scoop to work adequately.I emailed the seller to see if I can purchase replacement springs... but unfortunately they have not responded. Pretty frustrating that a good product doesn't have customer support and doesn't provide a better quality spring or have replacements available.So a five-star product is reduced to one star because of a darn spring.

I have two 40-50lb dogs whose poop I compost. I paid $8.21 for this scoop in Oct 2019 and it served us well until one of the thick black plastic arms split randomly today. Pretty good for an inexpensive piece of plastic that lived outside full time. The cheap thin metal springs did snap about a year after buying it, but I contacted the company and they sent new ones free of charge, which were easy to install and lasted another 2+ years.The size was good, the grip was tight and it was easy to use on grass/dirt. I wouldn't call it non stick but a poop scoop is naturally going to have some poop on it.I won't be buying another for $24 now though. I'll be getting one of the old time two-hander metal ones with how much I hate having to toss and replace things.

Best on the market, we have wooden balcony flooring.The two claws when closed, close into each other so if the excrement is soft it picks it up very well.Spring is strong.I recommend it highly.

No es practico. Aparte de que se mancha y es muy difícil limpiarlo. La verdad es que no lo uso.

I have Terrier mix and a Border Collie mix. I try to pick up after them regularly, but usually I end up doing it before I mow the backyard. I used the plastic rake and handled bin that can be found on Amazon until the handle on the rake broke. Then I bought this one.Overall I like it. It’s easy on my back and paired with a bag lined bucket I can trek around the yard without having to constantly empty the tiny handled bin I used to have. The closed design also allows you to part the grass when you open the jaws and come down directly over the poop.The plastic construction doesn’t give me confidence in its longevity and the small teeth don’t allow for a clean pick up in taller grass or getting underneath looser stools. Even though it says nonstick I still get buildup in the teeth that makes it less effective as I go around the yard. I have gotten blisters before because many spots require a couple squeezes and that can take a toll if you’ve gone a week without picking up after two dogs. I also have to push down on the handle to close the jaws because the springs aren’t strong enough to fight thicker grass.It’s convenient and I feel like there are equally as many pros as cons. I think it’s more of a personal preference as far as poop scoops, and I’ll use this until it inevitably breaks and I have to pick a new one.

No sé si por el uso rudo o qué pero se rompió al cabo de unos meses, sin embargo mientras servía todo funcionaba bien

I have only used this 4 times so far and that's why I'm only giving 4 stars since I don't know how long it will last. So far it works like a charm and I have picked up varying consistencies, it seems pretty sturdy and has a really strong closing mechanism, and hardly any bending required!
