I tried pair after pair this year trying to buy my first set of ice skates as an adult in her 20s with only about 5 years of seasonal skating experience under my belt. I sent back so many skates that didn’t fit or were uncomfortable and was finally very satisfied with these. I was nervous based on other reviews about how they’d do on the ice, but they were perfect. I saw a review about bulkiness and while I have to admit, I was at first not sure which skate was the left and which was the right, it does not impact my range of motion on the ice for what movements I want to do (just normal ice skating) in the slightest. No more soppy cold crummy rental skates! Hooray! I’ve already recommended these to so many friends especially for getting them at a steal of a price compared to other adult skates. I worried about skates meant for boys possibly having a weight capacity, but I’m over 200lb and have not had any problem with their durability in the slightest.

Although they have a good price, when I wore them I tightened the laces and everything very good however, they felt very loose and not supportive. I’ve had ice skates before and they were much better. every time I tighten them it feels like they get loose in five seconds. Rather spend a little bit more money on better quality, don’t purchase these.
