Perfect in every way! Lovely large print that's darkly pigmented hence, easy to read. Thin and lightweight and the faux leather is supple. I have the ESV Reformation Study Bible which I love for its content but this one is definitely easier to read. Happy with my purchase!

TL;DR: its a good bible for $20. Its not a premium bible, but is a good daily driver that looks great, reads great, and you won't be mad if you bang it up some.I bought this Bible to learn some things:1. First and foremost, I wanted to get some time with the NASB '95 translation.2. I wanted to try a verse-by-verse text format.3. I wanted to see how I like certain features like multiple ribbons, paste-down lining, bonded leather, red letter words of Christ, no cross references, etc.On the translation:I was raised in and now attend an ESV-dominant church. I have no issues with the ESV, I just didn't have an NASB and wanted to try it out. I'm a huge fan of the NASB now. I love the all caps for Old Testament excerpts in the New Testament. That is a really awesome feature that adds more to the depth of the reading. Now for this specific Bible:I didn't realize I had bought the giant print version. Lighter for scale in the photos. I guess my eyes aren't great, because now I have trouble reading anything smaller. I'm getting spoiled after a couple weeks of reading this text size. It is so big and easy to read.I like that the text isn't busy with footnotes, due to the excellent translating. I do miss my cross references though, but appreciate that this thinline edition doesn't have them, both for the sake of making it a smaller volume and for the fact that the text is not cluttered at all. You're just reading the Bible here. The words of Christ being in red is really cool too, it helps offset things. The bible stays open in Genesis and Revelation. After some time in the NT, I notice that some of the signatures are starting to become uneven. Probably has to do with stretching and breaking in of the spine as I read and handle it. I also bend and roll it in my hand and massage the bible while I carry it around, so that may have something to do with it. This is not my desk bible; it sees miles and terrain, and I don't go easy on it. I read about four chapters a day with my family as part of our M'Cheyne reading plan, and several chapters a day on my own on break at work. Not to mention following along on Sunday morning. Lots of page flipping. The gilding wears off a little as a glittery powder. I had the bible on the hood of my car waiting to carpool and the wind blew it open and creased some of the pages, putting a noticeable scratch in the gilding. Adds character I think.I really like the verse-by-verse formatting. I have yet to try a single column vbv, but the double column vbv reads very easily. There is some ghosting, especially in the poetic and prophetic books, but it's honestly way less than in my picture. My camera seems to enhance it. I haven't found it distracting at all, and I am really easily distracted by such things. I haven't torn any of the paper yet, despite much flipping.I do like having two ribbons. It makes it easier to keep up with more reading spots, though ideally it'd have five or six; four for the family reading, one for private reading, and one for whatever book the preacher is leading us through. Six ribbons in a bible isn't a thing though, so I'll just have to make due.I didn't buy this bible looking for a premium bible like Schuyler or even Zondervan's Premier line. I bought it as an intro to the NASB 95 and as a daily driver. It works quite well for what I wanted, and to top it all off, it cost me less than $25. Five stars.
