It is a major hassle to replace the chuck in my drill. There is no screw holding it onto the shaft and prying it off (as shown in some YouTube videos) was not only unsuccessful, but tore up the housing right around the chuck. I had to disassemble the drill to get the chuck/shaft assembly out so I could get the old chuck off and that was a major task in itself. THEN, reassembly took a long time, getting gears and pins and stuff back to where it was supposed to be. My drill does now work, but from the sounds I hear from it, I'm not sure how long it will last. If I were looking at doing it again -- I wouldn't. I'd buy a new (or maybe a used) model that would use the same batteries I already have.

This was the second one I tried to order because the first had the same problem and thought it was a bad one, but this one has it as well. The chuck doesn’t spin the drill bit properly straight which causes a slight but very noticeable wobble for the bit/tip.

The chuck fit great but the screw does not fit it is to big , lm looking for one a slight smaller.
