Preface: I was a trumpet player for decades and a disease came and left me able to make NO sound on my trumpet for 5 years. I guess a "miracle" happened and circumstances led me to SUDDENLY, again, create mature sounds on my trumpet. My technique isn't back yet, but the sound is my old sound. I've got about 50 mouthpieces collected over decades. I was a serious trumpet player.I'm dialing in which mouthpiece I want to with my Schilke B1. I saw this super-heavy mouthpiece on Amazon for a very cheap price. With free returns, I wanted to try it, even if just for giggles. It looks like it's constructed as well as my $200 mouthpieces! I also have another cheapie 3c that is quite good, but not as well made as this one.Size: This is a bit weird, as it is marked 1.5c. I would say that it is a pretty close ESTIMATE for size comparison and feels sort of like a 1.5c. SOMETHING IMPORTANT is the rim shape and cup depth/shape. The rim is a SOFT edged rim and the cup is deeper than a standard C cup. I'll call it a "soft V". The sound is darker than all my other mouthpieces and sounds a bit "cornet-ish". The overall feel will be that of a full blown 1.5c, as it feels just a tad wider than my MV 1.5c rim over a c1C cup.(Second day addition/edit)... THE RIM *SHAPE* and CUP DEPTH/ and SHAPE are quite unusual. The rim SHAPE, even though the size is a bit larger than I am accustomed to, pushes my lips closer in a positive way. The shape of the cup seems to direct the air quite efficiently. I'm not sure if the rim shape will help or hurt my endurance.Take-aways: Heavy. Soft edged rim. Soft V cup. Darker sound. Comfortable if this is your type. Easy to create sound. FWIW, it looks like they did a really good finishing/plating job. For the money, what's to lose? But if this sounds too big and heavy, you might want to check out similar, somewhat lighter weight 3c mp's. SECOND DAY UPDATE.... I did find a 3c version of this heavyweight mouthpiece by the same seller. The finish of the photos of this 3c didn't look the same, more "brushed" gold, so I am skeptical about how the CNC machine will cut the rim and the cup. We'll see and I'll get back to you.

The mouthpiece did exactly what we needed it to do. It made the horn sound much better.

This mouthpiece plays very well. It feels deeper and wider than a 7C for sure, but it might be smaller than a regular 1.5C. Nonetheless, it’s a very playable “megatone” mouthpiece for 18 bucks.
