These enamel pins are simply awesome. I really like them, mostly because of the music theme, but they are also very well done too. These 12 pins have three different metal tones: gold (3 pins), silver (2 pins), and black (7 pins). There are few different themes to these 12 pins: 3 musical instruments (piano, violin, and an electric strat guitar), 3 sayings, 2 that are headphones/ear buds with sayings, 2 media (records and cassette tape) with a saying on the records, and 2 are playback devices (turn table with the weighted toner arm, and a portable record player). My personal favorite? I cannot make up my mind. I love the instruments, especially the strat. But the cassette tape and turn tables really reaches out to grab that nostalgia too. But anchoring on to current times, the headphones with the saying "Music is my life" describes a few people who are really important to me too. So let's just say, out of the 12, 7 are my absolute favorites. The style of these pins are more abstract than realism, but even with the general cartoonish styling, the metal work and enameling is perfect. The attention to detail is impressive, such as the 4 Philip screws on the cassette tape, or the speed adjustment knob on the turn table. or the cobwebs and spider on the record player (also the base, mid, and treble knobs, or the side locks, the single hinge, or even the built-in speaker on the side of the case). The only flaw I could find, which is super minor, is on the black and white pin with the saying "I need my does of music everyday". That pin has black metal, and on the left edge near the top is a an ever slight smear of white enamel. I just wanted to mention this "flaw" because it's the only flaw I could find, and it's barely noticeable, especially being on the side. If it was a real concern to me (its not), then it could be fixed with a quick, small, tap of a sharpie.Overall, these currently my favorite set of enamel pins. It's definitely the music theme and the nostalgia for sure. Music is a major part of life for so many, that without it, I could not image how well we could deal with life. These enamel pins say it all, don't they? For the price, I think they are a bit more expensive than many other enamel pins, by a slight margin, but I think they are well worth it for capturing so much in just 12 pins. It's worth it.Photo:1. I had to include a photo of the white spot flaw. But upon magnification, that spot looks like it was almost intentional, as if was a coat, hanging on the edge of the sign. I'm sure it wasn't intentional, but it could almost pass as a jacket/coat, or even a two-toned shirt from the 50's? Naa... it has to be a simple smudge. Or is it?

Review for: Music Enamel Pins Set of 12 – Fun Metal Lapel Pins for Backpacks, Jackets, Hats & More – Collectible Music-Themed Accessories – Unique Gift for Musicians & Pin Collectors---------------------------------------Just got these enamel pins today and they are even more cute in person. Each pin was in its own bag and all the pins came in a clear, plastic case. The case is super nice because it allows me to store like pins together. The seller did a wonderful job with the photos so you know exactly what you are getting. Adding my own photo so you can see for yourself.Highly recommend. They are very cute and the pin portion is very solidly attached. Well worth the price ($14.99 at this time).
