**Update**My concert ukelele fits perfectly in this bag. I am very happy with this purchase. Definitely recommend.I haven't received my ukelele yet, but I love this gig bag. It seems well made. The zippers are strong and it appears to be pretty durable. As long as my concert uke fits in it (as indicated in item description), I will be pleased.

This mermaid uke bag is really neat. When I ordered, I ordered it because of the mermaids on it and didn't really look at all the pictures in the description. This is a lot nicer in person. I really like that it has the compartment area on the back side as opposed to on the front and this one has a divider inside the compartment area which is really nice. I like the interior it is more padded than some of my other uke bags and this one has a nice velvety/felt feel. The color in person is slightly duller than what the pictures show but is very close. This bag has a lot of really nice features that make my other uke bags seem not so great and this one cost much less. The price was definitely right for this pink mermaid bag. I paid $16.71 for it and I might go ahead and order the blue mermaid bag also (slightly higher than the pink version). The strap on the back of the bag is very heavy duty. I also ordered a pink flower strap that should match the bag pretty close (see my review for the strap). The accessory area on the back and the felt/velvety interior has sold me on this (along with the cute mermaids)! Would definitely recommend.

This is a very nice case. It definitely feels sturdier than it looks in the picture and has a thick foam lining, probably about 1 cm thick. It holds its structure well and has durable straps. I also like that it has a well made side handle. My ukulele fits snugly inside, which will help to keep it secure and protected. The colors are more of a vintage tone than in the product picture, so look at the pictures in reviews to see the true colors. My only complaint is that since the pocket is flat, it doesn’t have a lot of room for accessories, especially ones that aren’t flat, and it is a little difficult to fit your hand in to fish around for something in the bottom. Overall I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and design of this case.

My friend absolutely loves mermaids, pink, and ukuleles, so it was about as perfect a gift as I could have found for her.
