I was getting nails and screws in my tires. After purchasing new tires, I bought this to make sure there were none where I parked. It found nails, screws. And staples that I could not see! The small magnet has been helpful picking up small metal items in tight places. I love it so much, I bought one for a gift for my son in law!

Not recommend to pick up screws on the streets.

I got this since I'm having a new roof put on my house. I don't want any nails getting up in my lawnmower from the grass mowing or have them on my driveway and get into my car tires. this is a powerful little magnet. I'm only 5 foot two so it's a perfect size for me. It's done a decent job and picking up the nails that I have found but it has to be close for the nail to jump up onto the magnet. I just put it across the top of the grass to get those nails that fell through. Fun to use!

Use it to pick up screws and nails after working on things and it works great. Highly recommend!
