I was looking for a grill with some improvements over the George Foreman model. Here are the advantages of the Dash model Multimaker grill:1. The plates will lie flat so that after it cools I can spray the grill plates with soapy vinegar solution. The Foreman model does not lie flat.2. The grill plates are removable so that I can rinse them off in the sink and then brush off the remaining debris.3. The grill pattern is finer than the Foreman model so that you get more even grilling which tends to crisp the outside of your meat and seals in the juices.4. The way that the top of the grill comes down on what you are cooking allows it to sit flat on top of the meat. The Foreman model is hinged so that it comes down at an angle - not sitting as flatly.In general, it gives you the impression that you are working with something that is of very good quality and is thoughtfully designed. Perfect for 1-2 people max , this grill offers great value for the money. It's easy to clean, and the heat level works as expected. A solid choice for small grilling needs!

I have been looking for a small griddle/panini press with removable plates for ages. I was always grossed out I couldn't completely clean plates on a sandwich press. Dash created this and it fits my needs! I have made many hot sandwiches on this - saves a lot of money instead of going out to eat. Super quick for work-from-home lunches. I love how this is small and doesn't take up a lot of space - but large enough for larger pieces of homemade bread. Very easy to clean and wipe off the top and bottom when done. I used it for the first time the other day and made hamburgers and they turned out so good and juicy. I love how I didn't have to flip anything. I might try and grill asparagus on this device tonight.

It's smaller than it looks, it heats fast and hot and the plates go in and out well it's just small

The MultiMaker does a nice job of making sandwiches. I just use frozen bread, make the sandwich and put it in the cooker with the grill plates. Does a great job of melting the cheese and toasting the sandwich.I also tried cooking frozen hash brown patties and it did a great job. This cooker does fried eggs very well and easy. If you are cooking two eggs and like your eggs or easy, medium hard. Do not open the cooker out flat, but places the eggs on the bottom griddle and close the lid. The heat from the top lid will cook the tops of the eggs to your liking. Just open the cooker and see if the tops are to your liking. If they are, then leave the top lid open while the whites firm up. You do not need to flip your eggs and risk missing and getting egg all over the cooker and counter top.
