I like these poles a lot. Used another brand in carbon, and also aluminum poles in the past. These setup and breakdown in a few seconds, provide plenty of support and stability when needed, and pack down small for travel or backpacking. The price is significant. And they do not come with rubber tips. Overall, very pleased with the performance thus far. For context, have put about 100 miles on them.

Wife and I bought a pair each for hiking in Japanese mountains. We’ve just finished and they were great. Pack down easy for small suitcase. They don’t come with rubber ends, which is required in many places as carbide scratches. However, I found a Japanese famous hiking company called Montbell has rubber ends for their poles that fit perfectly and only cost a couple of dollars. You would be able to find these easily online I imagine. After hiking some days for 9 hours straight on tricky terrain the handles were still comfortable and they are light. They saved me from slipping regularly so all in all very happy.

Trying out my poles on a really wet and flooding day was good, as I was able to navigate through the terrain and wet material on the floor of the hiking trail well. I was impressed with the weight, light and yet sturdy, taking my whole weight ( 133 lbs) on some passages without a slip. Love my new poles

Sehr schöne aufstiegsstöcke. Stabil und sehr leicht! Nur dass zu den polespitzen keine gummiabdeckung mitgeliefert wurde stört mich ein wenig. Ansonsten alles bestens!!
