I've had the board for 2 months now. Has everything I needed. Used it for a thermaltake p8 tg massive case. Has enough argbs for fans and such. No issues for far

Motherboard is great for the price. Seems like this is just the "Gaming" version of the other cheap (209 dollars lol) x870 board they're selling. So same specs & I/O but it looks much nicer. I will note that the latest BIOS version was giving me issues with controlling my fan, but I reverted to an older version and had no issues since then.I like the separate wi-fi antenna, allows me to position the antenna in a much more sensible place then if they were just attached to the back of my PC.Allows overclocking and supports my 9700X. Very easy to place inside of my case and I appreciate how easy it is to remove my graphics card and m.2 SSD.The usb ports are a little bit lacking? I use a USB extender anyways so I don't really mind that there's only 3 USB-A 3.0 ports on the back. I do appreciate the 2 USB-C ports including USB 4 which is AWESOME.

Absolutely loving this x879. The bios is super easy to use and overlocking is a total breeze. It’s crazy fast and handles heavy gaming sessions like a champ. If you want a motherboard they crushes in performance while being cost friendly, this is a no brainer.

This motherboard is another quality one from MSI. It was easy to install and the manual was very clear to understand. The motherboard also works with the 9800x3D straight out of the box with no need for flashing a new BIOS. I went ahead and overclocked my RAM to 6000 MT/s and my CPU with no instability issues. I’d recommend this MB to anyone looking for an X870 chipset.

Buena placa que cumple para Ryzen 9. Los protectores M2 me hicieron elegirla sobre otras placas que no cuentan con esos protectores. Buena cantidad de conexiones traseras junto con cables necesarios. Se actualizo sola para el 9950X3D.Lo malo es que llego golpeada la caja pero no la mother, asi que fino.

This motherboard rocks! My favorite aspect of it is the ease of adding the AMD CPU along with the easy plug-ins. The M.2 SSD connectors make it a breeze to setup. The updated BIOS is also amazing and super simple to use and configure everything just how I need it. I chose this board over others for the simple design and lack of superfluous add-ons like RGB. I wish that there were easier to find higher end boards out their with WiFi but it's easy to just not install the antenna and disable in the BIOS if you don't need it for the X870. The MSI X870 fulfills everything I need a MoBo for on my builds. I do some gaming, but mostly homelabbing, work and software development.
