It is just what I needed! My previous grinder was the type where you hold down the button to grind and just pray/guess/check to see if the grind comes out right. In this one, I put the beans in, select the approx number of cups for the amount of beans I put in, and push the button, and voila! Works perfectly! The grind comes out exactly correct.As for the sound, well, it's probably best not to do it while someone else is sleeping, but otherwise it is really not at all a big deal. It's the typical sound of a grinder (one that you haven't paid a hundred or more for). Considering that even for the max amount of beans, the time of grinding is maybe 20 seconds. Don't know about you, but for 20 seconds I ain't spending triple-plus for something quieter. It's not that bad or important, at least for me!The only possible 'con' is that the top part that you turn anti-clockwise to take off to empty the grounds is a bit tricky to do at first. Once you get the hang of it, it's fine. But the first time is a bit of a struggle. (But don't give up! It does get better. 😊 )

I had an older version of this grinder for several years before it finally died. This one is even better with some convenient features. You no longer have to hold the button down to grind, you just push it and with the settings you put in place you just push a button and it grinds based on those settings (so now you are free to use both hands to cover your ears, which I recommend - it is loud). Also the new 'Twist &Clean' feature is awesome. I typically grind a whole bag of coffee, so I'm grinding numerous small bowls, and I used to have to scrape it out between each one, but with the 'Twist & Clean' feature it does it very well. Would definitely buy this again.

This is the perfect coffee grinder if you're stone deaf... 😳This works great, with adjustments so you can customize your grind. But it is very loud. I mean, VERY LOUD!!! It has a built in cleaner, which also works pretty well. You'll want to use the brush on the scoop every once in a while too. Just to keep things fresh.It gets 4 stars instead of 5 due to the noise it creates. If you get his, and you are usually the first one up in the morning to grind the coffee, be nice to those who share your home with you and grind the coffee the night before. Otherwise you may have some tired people rather unhappy with you each morning.Did I mention it's loud?

Si eres gustoso del café, éste es el peor molino para comprar. Prefiero un molcajeteLo compré esperando ahorrar un poco de tiempo al preparar mi café en las mañanas. Dejarlo moliendo en lo que preparo las demás cosas era mi ideal. Sin embargo, fue la peor opción que pude elegir.De entrada, es el 2do molino que compro. El 1ro es uno más pequeño de otra marca, que si bien me sigue funcionando, decidí donarlo a mis padres y yo quedarme con éste.Para empezar, el aparato es muy pesado y sumamente voluminoso; el motor es demasiado escandaloso (mi aspiradora es más silenciosa), la consistencia del café queda pésima y los tiempos no son los adecuados para llegar a la molienda que se busca.Por otra parte, no muele bien. Para llegar a una molienda fina para espresso requiero darle hasta 3 ciclos y aún deja con muchas inconsistencias. Mucho del café se atora en los biseles internos y deja incluso granos enteros. Medianamente pude arreglarlo quitando la canasta que según ayuda a que sea más homogenea la mezcla, nada más falso...

I have had a few coffee grinders over the years. This is the best one yet. It is sort of the 2nd generation of Mr. Coffee bean grinders and has a lot of great features. I really like the fact that it is automatic -- you don't have to hold the button down. It has 5 grind settings instead of 3 that the previous style had. It is easy to set the number of cups that you are grinding. If you always do the same number of cups, you don't have to change it. I have read lots of reviews about how noisy it is -- not much louder than any other grinder that I have had. If you set the grind, put in the recommended amount of beans, and select the number of cups, it grinds perfectly. The cleaning is the same as the old style -- twist the cap back and forth and it cleans the grinds off the sides and bottom. Not sure if some people writing reviews actually understand how this thing works. Don't let the negative reviews put you off -- it works great!

El equipo es bueno pero podría ser mejor. La molida no es tan uniforme como me gustaría & el molido mas fino no es suficientemente fino para hacer un buen espresso. Es necesario moler el grano de 2 a 3 veces para obtener un molido verdaderamente fino.Es facil de limpiar & muy facil de utilizar.

Se desconecta la parte de las aspas y se puede limpiar fácilmente. Tiene ajustes para diferentes cargas de café y es de fácil uso. El único inconveniente, en lo personal, es el tamaño, que resultó un poco grande respecto a otros molinos antes adquiridos, lo que puede dificultar su manipulación.
