For the price, it is a well made copy of an older issue US Army duffel bag. With the exception of the side pocket (which is more elaborate than on the original), the material is a slightly denser material than the Cordura of the original. Also different are the shoulder straps, which are not only padded with Delrin plastic furniture (instead of painted/phosphated steel), but also a little wider at the shoulder, making for a more comfortable fit. The bag is for the most part, the same size as the original. The bag doesn't fold down to the same compactness of the original bag, if you need to store it, but its a good substitute for the original bags, which are now in short supply. as the US Army replaced the duffel bag with a more modern design.

I got this bag for carrying a tall wooden drum. It's definitely roomy enough for the drum without any struggle to pack and unpack it.DIMENSIONSThe product illustration shows a length of 38″ with top flaps secured. That doesn't match what I'm seeing. The bag I received is 38″ long when unfolded and stretched to full length. But with the flaps closed, it's more like 31″–32″ long. The product illustration shows a width of 22″. When I have the bag propped up and the opening as close to a circle as possible, I measure something more like 16″–17″ in diameter. Those things aside, the actual size of what I received is good enough. The instrument fits easily with room to spare.FABRICThe fabric seems tough (with good stitching, including around the carry handle). The slightly rubbery-feeling material on the inside makes me think the bag will be very moisture-resistant—which is great, considering the weather where I live.CLOSUREI'd prefer a different (hinged type) hook for the metal loop, but it's not a big deal. I added a small clip to make the top a little easier to secure. The clip being fairly lightweight doesn't bother me—I won't be putting a lot of stress onto that connection. (See photo.)At least one review mentioned that closing up the bag was a little tricky, but note that the long metal loop can be turned easily within its housing.BACKPACK STRAPSOther manufacturers whose bags have thin straps should take a clue from Mozeto. The straps on this bag are wide and comfortable. The sternum strap is a nice touch. If I had any wish-list item for the product, it would be a wider and longer side zipper pocket. But, not a deal-breaker.For my money, definitely deserves five stars.
