I bought these to keep in contact with kids while snowboarding at our local ski resort. I’m amazed by range, clarity, and resilience for the price. Can clearly communicate from within lodge to across the mountain (Blue Mountain, PA).I’m not sure of battery life yet. We’ve used these four times for four hours a pop on full volume and have not had to change batteries yet.I’m here because I’m buying a second set.

What a great deal. Price was good, kids love them, different colors make sharing easier. Tough little radios. Great range.

These model is very good for camping, hiking, and indoor/outdoor adventures. Voice quality is very clear and it’s very easy to use. It serves in scouts basic radio communication training; different channels and good volume control with enough clarity at a reasonable price. This radio is very helpful and simple to use with batteries that are easy to replace.

We bought these so our kids could have a little bit more independence and distance from us and play on their own, they work great. We do get a lot of interference, but seem to be able to change channels to avoid it.

They are small, handy, easily fit every pocket, and most important than all have very powerful reception. No idea about battery consumption, but I tried them about over 2 kilometers from my home in a non-straight line at night and they still worked. The quality drops at this distance with so many barriers, but it works! Con: Like many other radios, you can hear other people's conversation, so you cannot leave them on at home during the night.
