Got tired of the short stubby antenna. Though it works but reception on these super short stubby is abysmal at best. This antenna came in the factory bag and label as if you were you buy it directly from Motorola.The antenna fits my XPR-7550e, XPR-3550, and R7 perfect. A huge improvement over the short stock one. The antenna is well made just like the original one I currently have on my XPR-7550e. I'm now able to pick up back inside a heavily thick cinder block building and still able to get out and hit the local repeaters.

I was nervous about getting this for my XPR 7550e which I use for EMS. But no need to worry, I can receive and transmit no problem. I cannot vouch for how it compares to the original as I live right near the repeater bit it works for me and it's much more convenient
