I replaced the OEM motor in the Samsung RS253BAWW, which had stopped working, causing air not to circulate and ice to build up in the back of the fridge behind the plastic panel. The air now circulates and no more ice build-up, easy install after removing shelves and plastic liner.

Our fridge was making a strange noise. Watched some you tube videos and determined it was the condenser fan motor. Thank goodness for Amazon! We have found replacement parts for so many things but finding a part our old Samsung refrigerator was amazing.

Motor works fine. OEM as it is the same motor (manufacturer name, location, serial number...) with Original Samsung refrigerator's motor. When you switch out the motor, do it gently or you will break the plastic cover and fan... don't forget to move the two big black o-rings (front and back of the motor) over the new motor. Save money! Will buy from this seller again for other parts. Trusted seller!!! Thank you.

This unit went in very easily with a 2 minute plug modification to my Samsung refrigerator. The unit ran quiet and functioned well. Easy inexpensive alternative to other comparable evaporator motors.
