Stopped working instantly. It worked the first time I plugged it in, then stopped working completely with any device I plug it into.

I'm no audiophile by any means but provided a great deal of oomph to my FIIO FT1s.I was running these of the 3.5 jack and I was driving them at 100% volume without getting much from the bass from my PC.These with the 4.4mm improved things greatly. I can hear more clearly different sounds and little nuances, the bass is more rounded and at only 40% volume. Good stuff!

Zunächst dachte ich, der Stecker sei kaputt: Er kontaktierte nicht. Erst mit einigem Nachdrücken und subtilem Scheren kam die Verbindung zustande. Mein Eindruck ist, dass die USB Kontakte zu kurz oder zu dünn sind. Jedenfalls ist das, insbesondere unterwegs, schonmal unzuverlässig. Deshalb werde ich den DAC wohl zurücksenden und auf eine v2 hoffen.Ton war aber gut bis sehr gut. Gain leider nur zufriedenstellend – für 14mm planar IEMs in Ordnung, für Over-Ears wird es obenrum vielleicht zu knapp.

This worked great on my iPhone right out of the box. Much much simpler and lighter than my Fiio desktop amp, and for my old ears, sounds just fine. My balanced connector snapped right in with a satisfying precision. The USB-C connector barely fit into my iPhone due to the case and the size of the connector. Also plugged right into my Mac laptop, producing perfectly adequate sound. Another convenience is volume control is just with the laptop or phone; versus the desktop amp which has its own volume control in addition to the source, making volume adjustments much easier with this adapter.

Most of the selling features of this Echo-B are editable DSP… BUT no matter how many times you install or u install the iPhone App, it will never “find” the Echo-B. I am using the Echo-B with iPhone 16 Pro Max (and obviously 4.4mm Balanced Headphones). The standard tuning of the Echo-B (which sounds like too much Upper-Midrange 2k-8k) does Not work with the type of music I listen to. The quality of audio though is definitely fantastic, so it’s too bad that the MoonDrop Link 2.5 app for iOS is completely useless!!!
