Installed by mechanic and they work. Old ball joint was worn out and plastic was gone. MOOG one fit and is not noisy.

Moog is one of the best quality aftermarket suspension parts in the industry. Love the grease fittings to allow service of the ball joint. Replaced the lower front ball joints on a 2011 Ford Ranger pickup with 102k miles (manual transmission). Separately did a complete brake job this week as well. This truck has another 10+years 100k+ miles of life in it!

Great product at a good price that solved a super annoying squeak. Mine was made in USA.

Quality looking piece, fit perfect, however mine did not come with the dust boot. Moog says it has an internal dust boot, which after I examined it, it does, but I still don't trust it, so I was able to save my old boot and installed it with the new ball joint. I rented the ball joint press from Autozone to install it. IMPORTANT INSTALLATION NOTE: there is a grease relief valve on the ball joint, o be sure to orientate it away from the brake pads. That's how you know when enough grease is in the joint, when grease starts to ooze out of this relief valve. Since I installed the old boot back on I have to pry the boot up some with a screwdriver to see when the grease if oozing out.
