NOT SURE WHY THE QUESTION ABOUT Longevity WAS ASKED, I WILL LET YOU KNOW AFTER I GET ANOTHER 400,000 MILES ON THIS UPPER BALL JOINT LIKE THE FACTORY FORD LASTEDEASY TO INSTALL AND WORKING LIKE IT SHOULD.

The design of this part has changed since the last time I purchased it. When installed per the instructions it rubs badly on the bottom side of the upper axle beam ear. Both ball joints were seated fully and squarely.The rub mark can be seen in the attached photo.The newer design part is taller and wider above the seating shoulder than the older design part.Truck is a ‘94 F250 RWD everything in the suspension is stock or quality stock replacement.

Nice ball joint, and includes the clamp-bolt. I've used these before and they work well. Not all ball-joints have Zerk fittings, but these do. The fitting provided is a right-angle. In case you want to use something different, these ball joints are drilled, but not tapped, for 1/4-28 UNF. This makes for a nice seal using the supplied thread-forming fittings, but these fittings can also be used to tap the hole for a conventional 1/4-28 UNF tapered.
