Funcionaron muy bien en mi Liberty 2004, con un desempeño superior al original y con un costo accesible.Les recomiendo que aprovechen en el remplazo cambiar las terminales de dirección de la misma marca.

So far so good. Highly recommend these if you have a liberty that has had lower ball joints replaced before. The larger diameter insures it will press in tightly in the steering knuckle. Also a must if your liberty is a 4x4 because the grease fitting can be accessed even when everything is reinstalled. Not sure about longevity of the part yet as i just installed it, but so far very impressed. This is a money saver because i bought a different brand and they were loose in the steering knuckle, and if not for the beefier Moog part, i would have had the replace both steering knuckles, which are pricy.

I bought these for my 2002 Liberty 4x4 since the OEM lower ball joints are known to be a weak link in the early years of this Jeep model. The MOOGs are noticeably beefier than the stock ones and are pretty tight to press in. More so than previous ball joints I’ve installed. It comes with extra nuts for the tie rod and the upper ball joint since you will need to take the whole knuckle off, so replace the hardware with new ones. You will need a c-clamp style ball joint press if you’re doing this yourself. I tried a hydraulic floor press, but I couldn’t orient the knuckle in a way to work on the press. Some tips: remove all the fasteners completely then thread them back on by hand before breaking the taper on the ball joints and tie rod because nylock nuts are used. If you break the taper before removing the nut, the tapered shaft will just spin and you’ll have a hard time getting the nut off. Also press the joints in with the grease fitting facing forward on the Jeep so you’ll have easy access with the grease gun. I also recommend removing the boot before you press it in so there’s no chance of ripping them. Save the boots from the OEM ball joints in case you do. FYI, the OEM boots are made of urethane and may actually be more durable than the MOOGs rubber ones. Overall, I’m very glad I installed these. There’s a definite peace-of-mind with these over the OEM ball joints.
