used this to place a small form ibm between monitor and arm vesa. Works well, you’ll need to adjust spring tension on arm but all good.

I hate to be the guy who gives a product four stars instead of five just because it didn't work for one specific application, but it's worth noting: The mounting surface that you would stick up against a monitor on this mount doesn't fit within a VESA footprint, so if you have, say, a Dell or an HP monitor with a detachable stand, and the VESA mounting holes are slightly recessed, this probably won't fit. (At the very least, you'll need to provide your own spacer washers and longer screws.)Just a thing to watch out for if you're planning on mounting your thin client or small PC between your monitor and a mounting arm.The clamp that goes around a monitor stand is also pretty narrow; if you've got a thicker stand (I have one that mounts two monitors vertically on top of each other with a pretty girthy mounting pole) you won't be able to mount the PC by clamping it to the pole with the included clamp, either.I ended up mounting my Lenovo M73 Tiny underneath my desk using this mount. It worked just fine for that, and it's nice and secure. You've got tons of options with this mount, you just have to make sure it's going to work with your specific monitor, and stand, if you want to use either of those options.
