This snake cable features eight balanced mono or unbalanced stereo lines with color coded wires (red, white, green, yellow, black, blue, gray, and brown). Each wire is constructed of a pair of 26 AWG conductors with aluminum foil shielding to protect from stray EM and RF interference. The wires are terminated in 1/4-inch TRS plugs at one end and in XLR plugs at the other.

Practicos para su instalacion, los conectores de 1/4 tienen un leve juego entre las puntas de conexion y las cabezas roscables, sin embargo funcionaron bien.

Let me start by saying, I'm a drummer and do a lot of drum tracking for different projects. I have two of these snakes in my home studio setup. They both run from my patch bay into 16 preamp inputs in my chain. This snake is flexible, and easy to run. Connectors are high quality and feel solid and having separate colors makes it easy to keep track of what is running where. I have ordered a number of Monoprice cables in the past, including XLR, TRS and Patch cables.... I also used Monoprice cat6 and cat 5e cable, in-wall speaker wire, and HDMI cables throughout my entire house when we built our home. No complaints, all works great!

Item arrived damaged with 2 defective channels.I repaired by soldering the dead channel terminals, but still would have liked it better if it arrived fully functional.Other than that it is a good price and decent enough quality to be installed once and left in place. Will likely purchase again when i need more patching.
