I am reviewing the “Momcozy Smart WiFi Baby Monitor with Camera and Audio, 5" 1080P Screen with Wall Mount, Motion & Cry Detection, Safe Fence, Clear Night Vision, 5000mAh Battery, 2-Way Talk, Photo & Video Recording,” sold by the Momcozy Store.I chose this item so I can keep tabs on my chicken coop. I love that it has a built-in thermometer and night vision. Thanks to the USB C cable, I use a rechargeable battery pack to power this camera, and I can check in on my hens any time day or night. It has several nice features. The camera is easily controlled via the monitor pad and has a terrific range of view. The picture in both day and night vision is crisp and clear. I have double checked the temperature with a different thermometer and found it to be off by about 1 degree, but for my needs, that’s acceptable. The monitor itself has a very long battery life. It will go a couple of days without needing to be recharge, since I don’t have the monitor on constantly. I have it set so that the monitor automatically goes off after 1 minute and it automatically starts up if there is movement or a loud noise, such as the Rooster crowing.For human parents, there are also several options to play Lullabies through the camera, which I found to be an incredible addition. I don’t use it for chickens, but I did test them out and they sound very nice. You can add a micro-SD card to record events and even install an app on your phone and be able to view the camera remotely. This is a terrific “baby monitor” system. The camera is easily mounted with the hardware included.I would definitely recommend this camera for anyone with a need for remote viewing, whether it be for a baby, an elderly parent or family member with medical needs, or a chicken coop. UPDATE, NEW REVIEW: finally after a few attempts got a hold of customer support. They replaced the defective item and I appreciate their resolution of the issue. I know have a better opinion of this company as they stood behind their product.OLD REVIEW:There is absolutely no customer support for this product. No response to email sent to them. While on paper it appears to be good, I would expect that when you pay OVER $170.00 you should at least be able to access some kind of customer support support. No phone number either to call. What a waste of money. My advice: look for a more reliable brand. Don’t put the safety of your loved one in a product that does not care about their customers.

I absolutely LOVE everything about this camera. The image is clear, the portable screen beeps to alert of movement or noise, the lullaby feature, the app on my phone is my favorite since I'm back at work. Overall functionality is great. Battery for portable charged works a few days since I turn it off once I get home. It's a really great product. Worth the monet.

In one week i bought three different baby cameras and this was the winner! 1080p, great quality picture, rotates, and has a handheld with the option of an app. The handheld quality is to be expected but the app photo quality is great. I love momcozy items. They can be pricey but they also have sales! So wait for a sale if you need to and check out their website to see if they have a sale their if not from amazon!Also you can record and take photos!! 10/10

We have baby number 2 coming this May. We started with one monitor for our first who is now 4 years old, but the charging port quit working for the monitor... then I found a Leap Frog brand camera and monitor, which I thought was cool. I really did love it, but for it being a big name brand... there were just certain features that I wasn't super pleased with.. and on top of that, when night vision turned on and off, it scared the poo out of my son... to where he was terrified of the camera, and didn't even like it in the room with him.. so I'd try hiding it in different spots, but man, once he saw it, you could tell... cause he'd go stiff and slowly pull the covers up to his eyes until I came in the room.Ssoo now that we have another baby and need a baby monitor again... I decided to find a different one that won't scare my 4 year old or chance scaring the baby when he gets old enough... and that's how I came across this one.I thought it was cool that you can view from a phone or a monitor... I think that will help my 4 year old feel like he's "helping" and not be scared, cause he can view from the app or something.We are all verrryy veryy exceptionally surprised and beyond pleased with this camera and monitor!!!!!Like... for something I thought was just a cheap, no name camera to try... turned out to be the best one we've had so far!! (and apparently it is a fairly popular brand name haha).So first thing my son noticed is the the click when it changes between night vision and color is not loud or scary like the other brand, and that made him excited.I noticed that when I'm talking in the monitor mic, I can let go and immediately hear his responses!! I didn't even know that was possible haha. Our other two monitors had a 2-5 second delay after I'd let go of the mic button, before I could start hearing his voice and responses.... and if I didn't hold the mic down about 2 seconds after talking, then it wouldn't relay my whole sentence until I pushed the mic button again to let it finish...This one is just.... all immediate! THAT in itself is a game changer for us!!! As soon as you press the mic, he can hear all my words as I say them... no delay, and as soon as you let go, you can hear the responses from the other end.I also loved the quality of the video.. It's actually 1080P!! Everytime I searched for a monitor in the past, none of them would actually say 1080... they would just say "HD" which I found out is just 720...but this one actually says 1080P and the quality of video shows and proves that it is!I obviously haven't tried out the boundaries option yet, cause baby isn't here yet...I will say, I found the app, but I couldn't get it to find the monitor... I'm not sure if you can only pair the monitor OR app or if you can have both paired at the same time... but we'll get it figured out, I'm sure its operator error in some way.I feel like I could go on and on about this monitor and camera... but basically we are very very very pleased and excited for this one!
