Das Gerät funktioniert einwandfrei, ist solide verarbeitet und man hat statt einem einzigen USB-Port zwei davon und zusätzlich einen Ethernet-Port, was für mich das Wichtigste an der ganzen Geschichte ist. Es gibt inzwischen einfach zu viele Geräte ohne Ethernet Port. Trotzdem gibt es aufgrund seiner Bauform einen Stern Abzug, da das Gerät so nämlich zwei andere Ports (in meinem Fall entweder USB oder HDMI) abdeckt, so dass sie nicht mehr zur Verfügung stehen. Das hatte ich anfangs nicht bemerkt oder bedacht. Die Idee ist ja gerade, dass man mehr von den Dingern hat und nicht weniger. Oder genau so viele. Außerdem ist das Gerät kompakt genug, dass man es problemlos überallhin mitnehmen kann.

Modern super thin laptops, at least mine, only has two usb ports and no ethernet port. Using my previous usb to ethernet adapter would use one of them. This allows me to do the same, but without losing a port since has two built into it. Very much recommended if you are in the same situation.

Very nice USB3.0-A to (2) USB3-A ports and a gigabit ethernet port. Expands your 1 USB-A into two and adds an ethernet port. Great for laptops. Works well, plug-n-play. Fast ethernet connection and all packaged in a small, stainless steel (I think) format that attaches directly to the USB3-A port in the device. Wide compatibility with most USB3 equipped hardware. Fast speed and clean design, compact for easy travel.Great little expansion hub at a good price.
