This puzzle is a little smaller than I expected but it is still a pretty good 3D wooden puzzle. The wood is fair quality, I only had 1 piece break but it is tricky with some of the smaller pieces. Patience goes a long ways. It has a lot of details which require gluing but they do not include the glue, most of the other brands include the glue. The instructions are ok but not great, I'm pretty experienced with these kinds of puzzles so I could figure it out but might be a little confusing for a beginner.Overall, it is an enjoyable detailed piuzzle to do and looks very cute when finished.

I have a lot of experience assembling various 3D wooden puzzle kits, and I've done at least one other flying ship before this one. This was a decent kit. The wood was easy to work with, and I didn't run into splintering issues. The instructions were fairly easy to follow. I did have to reinforce things with glue at some points, but that's to be expected. On that note, no glue or tools were provided in the kit beyond sandpaper, a block of wax, and a hook that I assume is for hanging it. However, you are expected to glue. You're expected to glue quite a bit, as all the colored portions are from paper without adhesive backing. On that note, you are not expected to cut, so you will not need scissors. The paper is perforated. If you're wondering why mine looks totally different from the picture for colors, I decided I didn't care much for the default pink/blue design and made mine mostly green instead. I painted the paper sheets themselves and then just popped them out with the new colors. This worked fairly well overall, and I'm pleased with the result.I haven't yet done the stringing or the hanging leaf part of the design yet. I took a break after constructing the main boat and actually misplaced the rest of the materials for a week or two. They're found now, but I'm not ready to jump back into it. Please note that the kit does not provide obvious mounting/hanging options other than the hook and the string meant to thread the ship itself.I'm pleased with it, and I enjoyed putting it together.

I've not actually started on this puzzle yet. I've opened it and it's very intricate and well made. It's beautiful. Very delicate and complicated. It will be fun and challenging. The instructions are a little tricky so it takes paying attention. The wooden parts are marked with a capital letter and the paper ones with lower case so I'll have to really watch that. And I'm touched and appreciative of the fact that there are spare parts for the most fragile pieces in case any are broken. What an unusual but fascinating puzzle!

This is just the sweetest little airship model I have ever come across. A quick rainy day project to do for or with you kids age 11 and up.There are a lot of small parts so this kit does need an adult and patience to put together. Some of the more delicate parts have extras just in case. Read through all the instructions before you start, and release pieces from the boards as you need them. Take your time to sand off any rough edges or attachment tabs. The kit comes with a lubricating stick for the parts that need to move against each other for the working finished model. Be generous and don't skip this step. The finished project is small, (fits in a small hand), and suitable for hanging from a hook under a shelf or near a bed or window. It comes in several colors so you can have the look you refer. This sweet little airship model comes with everything you'll need except a little glue. I recommend Aleene's Tacky Glue, Fast Dry version. It should be a fairly quick build including prep, and glue drying time about 10 hours with 4 of that being glue time.If you are looking for an intro to 3D mechanical models or a quick build to do for or with your kids I highly recommend this one. I'm holding this for a snowed in day. I'll come back and post pictures of the finished project.
