This backpack really draws your eye; its a vivid pink and well made. I got it as a gift for my 2 year old granddaughter who goes to preschool. She doesn't need it for preschool yet, because she doesn't go long enough yet, so until that time, she fills it with her stuffed animals to carry around. She really likes it.

I got this for my nephew, who is going to be starting kindergarten this coming September. It fits him perfectly! And the size of the bag is large enough to store his lunch as well as any little books and pencil cases he may want to bring to school.For the price, I think it's pretty reasonable at $36. The styles and designs of the bag, however, may be considered pretty "generic" to some people, though my nephew seemed to have really liked it once I showed it to him!Overall, I can easily recommend this backpack to anyone who has a young person in their life starting or going to school in the primary grades.

Our 6 year olds backpack is on its last days and I did find it too big, the school insisted on a full sized bag for the kids, but I find that weird because they do not carry enough to suggest that would be needed. Now it is the end of the year and I am ready to break some of the ridiculous rules - this bag is not "regulation" size for them.With that said, I had it in my mind that this would be bigger. It is basically an oversized lunchbox, and it is insulated just as a lunchbox would be. I do like that it zippers all the way open, with a kid, sometimes... toys, snacks and all the collected rocks end up at the bottom of the bag. So that makes this very easy to clean.
