Eventually bought a higher quality one, but was much more expensive. This was a great way to test out the usefulness of a chest expander in my workout routine since it is really affordable.

I was nervous about this due to reviews of other expanders from the same manufacturer so I was pleasantly surprised. It's obviously not going to be the same quality as a $200+ Baraban but I don't have $200.Pros:The springs seem to have good tension. Two on this is tougher than five "heavy" tubes on my rubber expander. This was a pleasant surprise as the reviews on their other expanders criticized weak springs.Length of springs is good. I am 6'2" with long arms and I can do a full straight arm pull apart. This might be a con to some but for me the one piece handles are a bonus as I don't like rotation when using an expander. It seems to have pretty solid construction as it is quite heavy.Cons:The handles seem to be a lower grade metal like they make the cheap taiji sword handles out of. They feel sturdy but also like they may be somewhat hollow. The clips are kind of a pain in the butt to change. I may try replacing them with mini carabiner.Uses:I intend to use this when traveling and as a supplement to my regular weight training. For more information on cables there are some good articles by Reg Park online and several books with expander courses on Kindle and online.

good if you have short arms, a miniature version if the real thing.

Spring came loose while I was using it, shattering a window. Luckily I didn’t get hit. Just save up and buy a decent one, not this piece of junk.
