I have a couple partial COB light strips left over from a project that I'd like to put to use in another room. I soldered new barrel connectors on the ends of the strips, but I needed a controller to connect them to.Combined, the strips are longer than either one was originally so I figure it's best to wire them in parallel, plus they're being installed on opposite sides of my wall outlet so a serial connection isn't ideal given the layout.Since I already had a 24VDC power adapter, all I needed was the controller. This one with two output jacks is ideal.The controller has all the basic functionality I'd expect for a single color light strip - on/off, dimming, and music interaction. The remote control is nice and has some preset dimming and timer functions. I can also use it with the BanlanX app on my phone for control or to integrate it with my home automatiom system.The one thing that disappointed me about this controller is that it doesn't let me control my two light strips independently. They're both either on or off, they're both dimmed exactly the same, and they're always both in the same mode. This isn't a problem for my scenario, but it would be nice to be able to control them separately if I wanted to.
