Hoping this helps with giving a little added protection to the catchers glove. Feels like quality silicone that wont tear easy. We'll see how it holds up over use.

My grandson is a catcher and 12u. After his thumb injury, he use this for a while to recover sooner. He uses it now all the time.

I broke my left thumb a few weeks ago and ordered this in hopes that it would help stabilize and protect my thumb as it healed, but the fit is rather loose and awkward, and I know that it's not intended to fix a broken thumb but rather to just protect the thumb while playing sports, I didn't like it and thought it should be more tight on the thumb so you don't have to keep adjusting it. That's the only thing I can say I didn't like about this thumb guard, as I bought it for the wrong reason.

My daughter liked it but it would move a lot. I should have gotten her a smaller size, if it were available. It did help. My player is 14u fastpitch.

This is nice for a bit of extra padding on the palm but when your hands are sweaty it does not go on as easy. My catchers do like these and wear them whenever they are behind the plate.
