I was honestly a little skeptical about these wireless CarPlay adapters, but this little black box has completely blown me away! This is the 3 one I have bought now! Installation was an absolute breeze – literally plug and play. I just connected it to the car's USB port where my phone used to go, paired it with my iPhone once, and that was it. Now, every time I start my car, CarPlay connects automatically within seconds. It's truly seamless!No more fumbling with cables every time I get in the car. My phone stays in my pocket or bag, and I still have full access to all my CarPlay apps like Maps, Spotify, and Audible on my car's infotainment screen. The connection has been rock solid too – I haven't experienced any dropouts or lag.The compact size is also a huge plus. It sits neatly in my dashboard compartment and isn't obtrusive at all. Small and awesome! I have another wireless adapter that I thought was pretty good, until I got this one. The USB port in my car is always powered on, so there have been times where the adapter has connected to my phone, if I am close to the car, like if I am in he house and the car is in the garage. Very annoying! This one, does NOT do that! It disconnects when the car shuts off and goes into a sleep or standby mode, so I never have that issue. This adapter makes upgrading to wireless Android Auto super easy. It was surprisingly small. Plugging it in and pairing my Android phone was quick and easy. It’s nice not having to deal with the USB cable every time I get in the car. Also my phone battery would drain while using Android Auto wired, so now I can have my phone plugged into a faster charger to keep it charged on longer trips.The auto-reconnect feature works well. Once paired, it usually establishes a wireless connection within a few seconds of starting the car. While it's not instantaneous every single time, it's consistent enough to not think about and saves the hassle of dealing with a cord.The experience using wireless Android Auto has been pretty good. Maps work like they should, calls are clear, and my music streams without skipping. It just works, which is what you want. Every once in a while there is a brief slow down, but it corrects quickly, and it’s not any different than a similar experience with wired Android Auto.I've also connected an Apple device to the adapter and it worked just as well, but my primary experience is with a Pixel phone.
