I never really learned how to play chess well, and with a few family members who are avid players, I decided it was time to invest in improving my skills. I ordered this electronic chess set so I could practice on my own and I’m finding it easy to use. While I can’t speak in-depth about the quality of the move suggestions, I can follow them and am starting to understand the reasoning behind each move. The magnetic pieces are a great feature, keeping everything in place during play, and the display is simple to navigate. It also comes with a storage bag for the pieces, and while there’s an underside compartment for storage, I found the pieces get a bit stuck when using it so I’m not sure if that’s its intended use. Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase and am excited to see if it helps improve my skills.

This electronic chess set replaced one sold by Radio Shack that my husband received as a gift almost 20 years ago. It finally stopped working and we searched for something comparable and settled on Chess Genuis. My husband has enjoyed hundreds of hours playing against the old set's computer at various skill levels and it has helped him hone his chess skills. He says Chess Genius is a more than comparable and challenging opponent when compared to the Radio Shack version, so we feel like it was worth the cost. The chess pieces are smaller than the old set, but he has determined that the smaller size is a non-issue.

My grandson asked me if I play chess. I kind of remember how to play, but I needed to relearn it. I bought the Millennium electronic chess board because it has a chess teacher. I'm very pleased and hope to play chess with my grandson soon. He will still beat me thought.

I always wanted to know how too play chess myself so i got this for my self👍And so far its pretty fun and it does help you learn to play and plays great its going to take me a good bit to fully learn chess but will see in the future how i do 😊Now for the quality how well its made the chest pieces feels like a very high quality plastic which has a nice feel in the hand and the board it self while plastic but it feels really solid. It takes 3 AA batterys not included you also can use a 6v adaptor i noticed to which isn't included but so far having no issues running it on batterys. It also has a nice cloth bag for the chess pieces and you also could store in the machine also. The lcd is nice and bright which you can also turn the backlight off to.Its a thumbs up for me 👍
