Love my midori pencil case! Great quality. It’s small so it forces you to carry only what you need. I keep spare ink cartridges for my fountain pen, a sharpener, a ruler, a pencil (all brass).

Heavy duty, high quality brass case, made in Japan.Yes, it will hold your writing utensils. Yes, it costs more than other pencil cases. It will also last you a lifetime, and your grandchildren will fight over who gets to keep it when you die.As other reviewers have mentioned, the inner edges are sharp. I rounded them off with a file and some emery cloth. Then, I forced a patina using some vinegar. This makes it look old, as you see in my photos.I have a fondness for containers, and this one is especially nice to hold in your hand. I carry it with me when I go out sketching. I can fit a couple pens and a few pencils in there, with room leftover for a small ruler, an eraser, and a pencil sharpener.If you're thinking about buying this, do. You won't be disappointed.

Very beautiful brass case from Midori. High quality, heavy duty, must have item for Midori fans. The price was good and the package arrived much faster than expected, with a cute origami crane in it. I recommend this seller and their products. Japanese quality! Thank you

ちょっと高めのボールペンや万年筆の、お気に入りを３本入れている。弁当箱みたいにカチャカチャするけど、レトロ調の風合いがあって落ち着きがある。 表面に指紋のような汚れが付いて、拭いても落ちないので、金属クリーナーで擦ったらツヤツヤが戻った。細かい擦り傷がついたけど、真鍮というのは汚れとか、こういう変化を楽しむものなんだろうかな…。 いつも机の上の見えるところに置いて、大事な手紙や文章を書くときは、ここから筆記具を出す。なんだか気持ちが落ち着く。
