This product is just fine for how I use it, but there are some caveats I want to offer for those looking for more out of it. The magnets are quite weak and it doesn't snugly clamp on to my portafilter. Therefore, it jostles around quite a bit if you move it or aren't holding it level. However, it is quite heavy (a positive feature in my mind) and well-constructed so the movement is limited. So if you just use it like a collar for WDT or maybe a stationary grind directly into your portafilter, it does the job perfectly. And for the price, I'm totally OK if that's all I use it to do.

For a simple static device this dosing funnel hits positive on all points. Good looking high quality piece with strong magnets that holds very nicely to my Profitec 600 portafilter. The fit is precise with no overhang or skirt inside the portafilter so your pucks stay perfect with less WDT action. As an added bonus, I store my tamper on it when not in use!

First, the actual product. I've had quite a few dosing funnels over the years and this is by far the nicest. Finish is excellent, the black ring is only slightly raised and looks really good - I was a bit concerned it would look tacky but this is very well executed. Feels amazing in the hand and has nice weight to it. It's quality. It also does exactly what it's supposed to do and (the reason I switched) has no inner lip.I did want to post to clear up the inconsistencies in review regarding the magnets. Are they strong, are they so weak they float into space... reviews are all over the board.I personally run a bottomless PF with a number of high end baskets. I have a gallon bag of OEM and other baskets from over the years that are just laying around as well as a bunch of spouted PF's.Stock baskets use lower grade stainless. Higher grade baskets typically use higher grade stainless. There are tons of types of stainless. Some are magnetic and some aren't, some are sort of magnetic. Bottomless PF's have less metal in them, spouted more metal. This thing sticks like a vise to a stock magnetic basket in a spouted PF. It has only slight magnetism to a high grade nonmagnetic stainless basket in a bottomless PF. It IS NOT the dosing funnel that is causing the mixed reviews in magnetism. It's extremely magnetic. It's the gear you are using. That being said, even with my 'barely magnetic' setup, between the weight and design of the ring it doesn't move at all during WDT and works perfect. If you have a barely magnetic setup and like to swing your PF around wildly, this might not be your best option.
