The product has a good feature but it moves a lot and doesn't seem to tolerate the higher velocity strokes.

I bought this as a gift to my boyfriend to use for practising his drumming at the trailer since, for obvious reasons, he cannot bring his real set there. It is partially my fault for assuming that it would 'sound' like a drum because it was not mentioned in the product nor the one review I found. I thought this would be better than just the usual non-metronome/sound drum pads sold. He tried it out and with each hit, all we heard was a beep that just became annoying each time he hit it. It was same sound as the metronome which resembled the sounds from an Atari game. I do have to say that the sturdiness and durability were just fine and served the purpose but we will never turn it on. Actually, I boxed it up and I have since bought a new desktop drumming pad that actually sounds like drums and cymbals.
