These are built like a tank, They;re study and well made. The clips are strong and solid. These truly are meant for the blue collar man.That being said, not everyone needs suspenders made for extreme, heavy duty use. I surely don;t being disabled and I was thinking of returning them but for $15, it just isn't worth my time. There is nothing wrong with them at all but they're overkill for my needs. I wear my t-shirts not tucked in my pants so I have to wear these under my shirt and with the front portion not being elastic, it's kind of uncomfortable but I don't want to make it sound like I'm giving this a negative review, I'm not. These suspenders are fantastic, just not for me. I'll keep them as a back up plan in case the other set I bought at the same time fails.

Like seatbelt or high quality tool belt straps, withold school clasps that grip with metal teeth.Works great for holding my pants up even with my pockets and tool belt rediculously overloaded!No damage from the metal teeth AFAIK.

Hubby loves these! Only downside he said is you need to unclip them to use the bathroom because there’s no stretch to them
