I use this for my nostril piercing. One of the only posts I could find that came 18g, 5mm length and is thread-less. So so so much more comfortable for me, all the others come standard 4mm or 6mm length and its crazy the difference just 1mm makes for me because 4 is just too small and 6 is too big to the point of annoying me all day long. My kid has accidentally ripped my nose ring out several times so I ordered a bunch of cheap jewel posts(that only come in 4 or 6 length) with the intention of only using the jewel pin and plugging into the 5mm post I have from the piercing shop, and of course the piercing shop post absolutely will not accept the pins, Ive tried forcing it and they just wont go. This gold one is perfect and I can fit any of the cheap pins in it. So now I’ll have a bunch of back ups for when I lose the jewel part from my toddler grabbing or hitting my face(ugh kids). I didn’t need it to be gold but it’s nice that it’s hypoallergenic and isn’t going to bother my skin.

None of my standard threadless tops fit these. This has never happened before. Now, I’m stuck with useless backs because they are opened.
