I have bought 5 now, use one for potable water tanks, one for pumping honey when I strip my hives, one for my boat, one for gas and one for diesel. Well worth the money and works like a CHAMP!

Works well with gas can. Today’s gas cans suck. This makes them suck less

This MEKOTRIN transfer pump works with water, gasoline, diesel, and most other fluids.I find this transfer pump most useful for transfering gasoline from my 5 gallon cans into my equipment. I no longer have to hold up the 5 gallon cans during this process. The auto shut off sensor is a great addition and helps people to avoid fuel spills.The On switch doesn't need to be held down while transferring fluilds.I really like that this transfer pump can be powered by AA batteries, 12V cigarette lighter outlet, and from a 12 volt DC using the included battery clips.This transfer pump includes 3 different gas tank adapers. I was able to use two of the adapters to allow for use on my MidWest and Blitz 5 gallon gas cans.I recommend this MEKOTRIN transfer pump.
