Works are described, I use it during every inspection. Compared to the gauge I bought at Home Depot, this is better.

Seems very well made. WAY better quality than my last one. A sticker on the side says to cut off or pierce rubber nipple, but I suspect that's for a permanent, upright installation. No instructions provided, but previous reviews said cutting it off caused the fluid inside to leak out. Used 14mm and 17mm wrenches to tighten hose bib adapter with Teflon tape.Connected to hose bib and got the readings I was hoping for, 50 in house, 120 from street, but I cannot attest to accuracy. Took off a star as the rubber nipple is not explained and no instructions at all, Not that I need them. Attach to hose bib, turn on water, get reading.

A few day's ago I purchased a Water Pressure Guage from a local Big Box Store and was very disappointed with the quality of the product and promptly returned it.I immediately ordered this Water Pressure Gauge from Amazon and I could not be more satisfied. This Water Pressure Gauge works perfectly as described it is sturdy in design and of very good quality and most importantly it is accurate.It's cost was lower than the one purchased at the Big Box Store and a much better quality product. I would definately recommend this guage to family and friends.

So I've bought and used cheap pressure gauges from various vendors for at least the last 20 years and placed them into continuous use on various projects. Now on all my prior projects I've used air-filled gauges and they've lasted on average about 5 years each time before leaking in water and rusting out. This time I need a couple to monitor things on a DIY in-line fertilizer injection system and I'm going to try out these YZM oil filled ones to see if they last any longer. So far I'm impressed. And yes, as mentioned in the other reviews, you have to assemble the hose connector piece yourself -- make sure you use Teflon tape or it will leak. And even with Teflon, you still have to tighten these down real well. I agree YZM should realistically do this work for us, given they charge a few bucks more for this unit versus there other models that don't come with the hose piece.Now the above are all the 5-star features (and yes I did not dock them a star for not assembling the hose piece for me;-). But as mentioned in several of the other 3-star reviews, Mr/Mrz YZM product listing folks need to split this listing into two: One listing, the "steel-colored" unit, is oil filled and matches the textual description up top of this listing. The other one, the "black-colored" unit, is NOT oil filled, does NOT match the description above, and needs to be split to a separate listing....and since your rating is horribly tarnished at this stage, you are best off dropping this listing entirely, and creating 2 totally new ones. Good luck with that and let's see the marketing folks at YZM are on the ball and read English!
