Ich wollte mein Cannondale Moterra Neo EQ auf tubeless umrüsten. Beim letzten Platten mit den Originalreifen habe ich festgestellt, das diese Conti Eruban Plus sehr schwer unterwegs zu demontieren sind.Da ich mit dem Bike auch viel Straße fahren, wollte ich einen Reifen, der gut rollt. Das erfüllt der Maxxis Crossmark II. Leichte Trails lassen sich mit dem Profil aber auch noch fahren. Von daher passt der.Der Reifen selbst wirkt robust und die Fertigungsqualität muss mit den verwendeten zwei verschiedenen Gummimischungen keinen Vergleich scheuen. Vor allem die Seitenwand wirkt dank Exo-Protection sehr solide und langlebig. Bei vergleichbaren Schwalbe-Reifen sucht man sowas vergeblich.Die Montage ist hier ein Kinderspiel und kann werkzeugfrei erfolgen. Zumindest auf den von mir verwendeten Hope Fortus 30 Laufrädern ist das alles sehr einfach zu machen. Tubeless-Setup ist auch entsprechend einfach und ich konnte die Reifen nach dem Aufziehen mit einer normalen Standpumpe aufpumpen. Hält die Luft auch schon ohne Dichtmilch, was immer ein gutes Zeichen ist.Rollwiderstand ist ok. Gewicht ist von Maxxis mit 760g angegeben.Sind halt eher für feste Böden und auch nicht wirklich für Nässe. Stört mich nicht. Bremsleistung ist bei Regen auch noch ok.Jetzt bleibt nur die Frage, wie lange der Reifen so hält. Werde ich sehen.Auch wegen dem günstigen Preis für ein wirklich gutes Produkt: 5 Sterne.

普段は通勤や街乗りが多いが転がりも良い。それでいて里山系などをトレイルしても空気圧さえちゃんと調整してやればグリップもしっかりしてる。オーダーから納品までも2、3日だったのも良かった。

No tienen buen agarrre en curvas. Ruedan bien. Aun las estoy probando en camino ancho. No hay como las High Roller II!!

I'm giving this 5 stars even though it did not suit my needs. I put these on my Surly ECR. The tire is high quality and durable. There is a lot of ground contact with the tread, the face of the tread is nearly flat and is nearly the width of the tire. You get a lot of ground contact per square inch. Hence, this is not a rolling resistance winner. If you have room for only more narrow tires but wish to ride trail or gravel, I think a great option. It is quieter than most after break in. It does really well on ice also. Seems to have a lot of protection from punctures.If you are riding a mix of trail, gravel and pavement, the tire is noticeably slow on pavement. I bought this in 2.25" width, wanting something faster to keep up with my carbon road bike friends, and my stock 3" 29-plus sized Surly Knards are faster than these (Knards are also much noisier on pavement). All in all a very good tire but it is not for my riding needs and what my bike is capable of. I will just use it in the winter for riding on icy roads. HOWEVER, if I had a bike frame that only accommodated narrower tire widths, i.e., I had a road bike that I wanted to ride on trail, this might be my go to tire.
