I ordered two of these, and neither one can clamp anything thin - There’s at least a quarter inch between the bottom of the shoe and the surface when they’re tightened all the way down. I’d choose something else if I were you until they get their quality control right.

These are very similar to old school made in USA table clamps that are NLA. The only thing I don't like about them is the small 8 mm stud that holds them to the table. Aside from being a little thin, it requires it to be threaded into the clamp then one has to tighten a retaining nut to hold it to table. Very inconvenient! The old ones I have use a 1/2"-13 stud fastened to the clamp and then a large wingnut to hold it to table. I drilled out what is effectively an 8 mm rivnut with a half inch drill and then cut the head off of a grade 8 1/2"-13 bolt and welded it to the clamp and added a large wing nut to hold it down. This made it nearly identical to the old made in the USA clamp I have and works well. I deducted one star for small 8 mm stud.
