I don't think this mattress cover is great. It doesn't have that luxurious feel I was hoping for and I wouldn't want my skin touching it for very long. And it kind of crunches too. So I cover the mattress protector with other sheets and pillowcases to make for a much more comfortable sleeping experience.

I get these for extra protection on my kids bed just in case they spill something, get such and throw up, or have an accident (which is pretty rare these days). This seems to do well, though I haven't been able to test how waterproof it is since my kids haven't had any unexpected things. It is a good fit.

This is exactly what I needed, it doesn’t slide at all, no strange smell, washes easily and most importantly it protected my mattress from a big spill and absolutely nothing got through. Not sure if the water had puddled for a while if it would still be waterproof, but I caught the spill right away.

I'm somewhat suspicious about the "organic cotton" claim. Usually organic cotton bedding products cost well over 100 bucks, my last mattress protector made from organic cotton cost nearly $300 for king size. So take it with a grain of salt. This product is better than others in the fact that it has a OEKO-TEX certification, however I wasn't able to verify if the company has this certification or one of their suppliers (i.e. not all parts of the protector are certified). I suspect this is the case here, as the plastic backing of the mattress protector is like all the standard "waterproof" protectors that are being sold cheaply. I washed it first, and it held up good shape, I hang everything to dry as I don't have a dryer, but please be careful putting this product into the dryer as the plastic backing might melt or create toxic fumes.... who knows. I'm using this now but it's underneath another fitted sheet, so it's comfortable. I can't speak to anything else, will see how long it lasts, but it is certainly useful if you have pets or kids or spill anything on your mattress! I like the pillow covers very much, they also have the plastic backing, so sweat will not soak through. My husband sweats sometimes a lot at night, so his pillow is completely yellowed (although I always put 2 pillow covers!) so I think this will help a lot and protect the pillow. I'm glad the set is washable and the stitching is good, it looks like it will hold up a while! I will update my review if anything else comes up, but so far I really like this set and I'm especially happy about the pillow protectors!
