A deck of classic Uno cards, with two add-on packs of 16 cards each to add some spice to the game. They come in a tin with cardboard inserts that provide a number of slots for add-on pack card sets and the original deck. All the cards, including the add-on cards, feature small shapes that go along with colours for the benefit of colour-blind players, which is nice. Each add-on pack's cards also have patterned backgrounds so you can tell which add-on pack they belong to.The add-on packs are relatively simple, being the Reverse and Stack packs. The Reverse pack adds action and wild cards that also have the Reverse effect on them, while the Stack pack adds action/wild cards that force more drawing and can be stacked on each other (Draw Two cards being stackable has always been a house rule for me).The idea of Uno add-on packs seems to be new, so none/few packs are available to buy so far. Time will tell whether it's a good idea, because the add-on packs will undoubtedly be adding more action/wild cards than number cards so the deck balance will change, not to mention the added rules complexity.This product seems well made. The game is a classic, and the extra cards are relatively simple to understand (except for the Wild Reverse card which the manual says grants you a second turn, even though no other Reverse card does that).

Our family enjoys playing UNO, and this version with the add-on packs brings a nice change to the gameplay. The collectible tin is useful for storage but not the best for travel – the single pack is better for that. A bit on the pricey side.

UNO is a really great card game which our whole family enjoys. I really appreciate that it’s a god way to teach rummy skills to younger kids as we have a family rummy game which we play with two decks of cards and Uno is good training for that game. The two additional packs give you a greater variety to the games if you are getting tired of the original basic game. It’s a pretty foolproof game so I’m not sure they are entirely necessary. I was quite surprised by now big the tin the games come in was compared to the amount of cards inside.
