I love this patio umbrella. It works great, the adjustment, opening, and tilt is simple and smooth, and the color is sharp. It's lightweight and easy to carry. It fits in a standard umbrella insert. It's a good value.However, the umbrella doesn't come with a base.

I wanted a navy blue umbrella to match my inflatable hot tub and it looks terrific with the added bonus of the solar lights. While not the brightest, I don't need to read by them but wanted a little night time ambience which I am satisfied with. Happy with my purchase and the quick next-day delivery by Amazon.

This is a nice low-priced patio umbrella, I bought it because it said it was "UV resistant", but wont know if it is or is not for at least 1 season in the sun (it's the dark navy blue color so I sure hope it is!!!). Anyhow, it seems equally as sturdy as others in its price range so I wouldn't hesitate to buy this one.There is one thing that surprised me, the umbrella as a 1" wide strap sewn onto it which can be used to tie around the umbrella when closed. I have always used a bungee for this purpose, and while I like the fact that the strap is color coordinated with the umbrella fabric, it REALLY needs a plastic buckle on it so it can be easily engaged/disengaged (who wants to tie/untie a knot every time?!?!?). I put a plastic buckle on and it works great, BUT be advised the material is fairly thin and you will DEFINITELY need a non-slip buckle to secure the loose end of the fabric. Here on Amazon search for "B0BH4CNLQR", that's the kit I used that includes tons of plastic 1" buckles but most important 6 of the non-slip buckles to secure the loose end and keep the main buckle from sliding off when not in use.UPDATE: The umbrella has been outdoors in the sunlight for a month now as I was away on a road trip. I was very disappointed to come home and find the color noticably faded already! Remember the product says it is "UV-resistent, Sunscreen coating" - it's not IMO. Everything else above is still true, but don't expect it to be UV-resistent.
