Inoperative after 10 minutes of use. Hose adapter wrong size, over torqued and no tapered threads. Hammer pad overly tight. No way to swap out swivel hose adapter as it is undersized and has no taper. This is a poorly manufactured toy and not a serious tool.

If you've been using a regular hammer this one is going to make you wish you had gotten one sooner. It works really well and has a lot of adjustability for how hard it hits, more than you'll ever need really. It's really high quality and I didn't have any leaks at all, and it looks and feels like it should hold up over time. It's easy to go overboard if you're used to hand hammering but that's not the tool's fault, just something to be aware of. To me, having used a normal hammer for years, this thing is a bargain and more than worth it since it saves a lot of beat up and aching elbows, wrists, and shoulders. Well worth adding to the toolbox if you do any metal fab and I highly recommend it.

I had a high-end body shop for over 20 years with ten full time professional employees. I'm from the old school using a body hammer, and a metal dolly. You cannot straighten metal without providing resistance in the right spot on the other side. So, for example, climbing up under a fender to hold a metal dolly, and then striking blows with a body hammer with a flat face was doable but having this air palm hammer is a dream. You can totally focus on where the dolly is to compress on the one side while squeezing the trigger to create a smooth hammering. You will need some good ear protection, which is the case no matter what you do. You can adjust the impact strength by adjusting the PSI air flow between 25 PSI to 125 PSI creating a thousand strokes/impacts per minute. You may not need it every day, but it makes a nice addition to your arsenal.
