Tried using them for my classroom door. Within two days they broke. Didn’t seem to hold up well for the door that is open and closed repeatedly throughout the day.

Muy buen producto, sirve muy bien y trae instructivo por si se tiene que modificar el casco. El mío traía tres orificios pero modifiqué para que quedara con mejor visibilidad.

The C-Flap worked well on an Easton helmet for my ten-year-old. He was required by his league to wear full face mask up until summer ball of this year. In moving from the face mask to the C-Flap, the player noticed an improvement in sight and helmet comfort/weight. If you are moderately handy, putting this on is a breeze. For me retrofitting did require drilling holes and pressing in threaded inserts. Seems like a much better solution than a full mask if you are allowed to use this.

My son plays on a travel baseball team and there was instant resentment when he opened the Amazon box and found the c-flap. He groaned and complained. We reminded him the week before that there were TWO MLB players hit by balls - one was batting. We asked him to just TRY IT for a while but he wasn't happy. I took him to practice later that week and held my breath when he got up to bat. He crushed the ball like he usually does!The c-flap didn't get in the way of his vision at all. It just takes getting used to but my son admitted that it was "kind of cool" and that other teammates thought it was cool. I reminded him that it is a simple thing to help reduce the risk of getting hurt and that his Dad and I don't want to see him hurt, etc. My son gets it now and we are thankful that he is embracing this equipment. Other parents on the team have asked me about the c-flap and some of his teammates want to get them now. I think this is a small step in making the sport of baseball safer. Our league/county doesn't mandate c-flaps for boys yet girls that play softball HAVE to wear caged helmets when batting and pitching masks. Do we not value protecting our boys as much as our girls? It's not a vanity issue - it's a safety issue and I hope we can start changing minds by purchasing this c-flap.

I took him to practice later that week and held my breath when he got up to bat. He crushed the ball like he usually does!The c-flap didn't get in the way of his vision at all. It just takes getting used to but my son admitted that it was "kind of cool" and that other teammates thought it was cool. I reminded him that it is a simple thing to help reduce the risk of getting hurt and that his Dad and I don't want to see him hurt, etc. My son gets it now and we are thankful that he is embracing this equipment. Other parents on the team have asked me about the c-flap and some of his teammates want to get them now. I think this is a small step in making the sport of baseball safer. Our league/county doesn't mandate c-flaps for boys yet girls that play softball HAVE to wear caged helmets when batting and pitching masks. Do we not value protecting our boys as much as our girls? It's not a vanity issue - it's a safety issue and I hope we can start changing minds by purchasing this c-flap.
