This craft storage box from Mandala Crafts has really been thought out to make it one of the best on the market. The plastic floss bobbins are a major improvement from the old fashioned card stock kind. In addition to the creative storage in this container, the seller has included a thread winder and stickers. The stickers are going to be wonderful to write down the color code of the embroidery thread or to write down the color of beads. I'm not sure what I'm putting in the box yet - beads, jump rings, or sewing machine parts like presser feet or needles. I highly this box for its quality design and versatility.

There's nothing too ground-shattering about an embroidery floss container. This one is pretty standard in size and what it can hold. I liked that it came with the 100 plastic bobbins, because those are getting harder and harder to find at my local craft store. I would have preferred cardboard, but meh. This set also came with labels to write on, so that helped. There are removable dividers, but each divider is attached to another, so you can't enlarge just two cavities (see pic). They also don't twist apart easily, though I'm sure some sturdy enough scissors can give the plastic bridge a snip for full customization ability.I had never seen nor used a bobbin winder before, so that took some googling, but it was easy enough once I understood how it was designed. Remove the peg, insert the bobbin, and replace the peg to hold it in place. However, the design of this embroidery container meant that there was a lip around the edge preventing the bobbin winder from seating fully on the edge. I ended up putting it on my old container to hold it stable while I wound. All in all, I mean... it does what it says on the tin. I would have appreciated some guidance on the bobbin winder, but it wasn't that hard to figure out.

This is a decent storage for cross stitch or embroidery floss. I have not done cross stitch in years and am just now getting back into it, so I am getting this in order to get organized as my floss builds up over time. I have not really started using it yet because I am just gathering materials to start. It comes with a bobbin winder, which I have never used but looks simple enough, and a bunch of the cardboard pieces needed to wrap the floss around. I cannot say it is the sturdiest box, but unless one is really rough with it, I do not see how it will not last a long time.

I am a cross stitcher and I use a lot of these organizers. This one comes with the floss winder, clear plastic bobbins and sticker to write floss numbers/and or color.

This is my first storage box like this as I am new to embroidery, but I can't imagine that there are huge advancements in this area of organization. This one seems pretty basic in what it can hold. I like that it came with the plastic bobbins because the starter kit I bought didn't come with enough for all of the floss. The labels were a really nice touch and the perfect size, which I liked.I had never seen a manual bobbin winder before. It was pretty basic just looking at it but I googled just in case. Remove the peg, insert the bobbin, and replace the peg to hold it in place. However, the design of this container meant that there was a lip around the edge prevented being able to actually use the bobbin winder with the case.It says what it does, but there are some design flaws. The lip on the case for one, and the removeable dividers leave a little something to be desired.
