Estructura de doble revestimiento

It is not 16 gauge it’s more like 19 gauge. With the rubber coating it might make it 16 gauge, but the wire inside is thin. “ it’s 19 gauge”

It was heavy wire than I have order before. It is working great for what I needed it for.

I live in California and galvanized steel usually doesn't rust here in the first few years, as everything dries quickly. This Forimo hardware cloth started getting orange/brown on the cut ends after a few days in the rain. In comparison the 4 feet AggFencer galvanized black hardware cloth B0BW8KXV8W did not rust and is a little thicker. The AggFencer came a bit sticky leaving black tar on my hands. The coating only dried slowly. So I have not found the perfect hardware cloth yet. (black coated galvanized after welding: Black looks nicer than silver. But I think galvanized and not PVC coated is probably better than PVC coated and not galvanized. Ideally of course both.)The picture shows my plant cage construction, the Forimo cloth on top, the AggFencer on the bottom. Its hard to see, but the Forimo feels and looks thinner and it turned bright orange from rust where the black paint is not. Galvanized items don't do that. They just become less shiny over the years outside.

We purchased this mesh to screen off the bottom of our deck from a pesky skunk. It was pretty easy to work with and allowed me to work around the deck posts, etc. to get things closed up and secure. The first night the skunk came by, we saw it go right to the spot where it had been entering in the past, saw the fence and turned away!It will likely rust at the cut points but for our purposes, it won't matter so no worries there.

Overall this is very nice wire. It looks and feels very solid. For most applications this is an excellent wire. My application is a bit different, I am stapling this onto wood with an air stapler. I am playing with the stapler settings to try to eliminate fracturing of the coating. It seems to me that this wire may have been double dipped in the poly coating and the top layer fractures off when stapled. I am going to keep it and use it as a boarder around my garden.
