Easy to cut to custom height and radius dimensions to keep critters out. Pin down with landscape pins. Looks nice too. Completely stopped plant damage that repeated applications of Liquid Fence repellant didn't stop.

Just what I needed but a bit pricey.

I like how this came rolled up. It was easy to unwind across the ground to measure and cut. Simple pair of dykes cuts it like butter. Once I attached the fencing to wooden spike I hammered into the ground , doing it multiple times for strength and tying with zip ties. Then I bent the top of fence over by hand which gave it more strength and rigidity. My only complaint is small leaves were getting through the mesh. I should have gotten a tighter weave pattern. Likely 1/4" openings rather than 1/2" or 3/8". But the fencing has kept out a lot of leaves from the flower beds along the front of the house. The fencing doesn't come with spikes and those sellers offering spikes aren't giving you what you need anyways. I bought full length 1"x1"x12' PCs of wood from Home Depot and cut them into approximately 30" long sizes to pound into the dirt. Then use zip ties(also not supplied) to attach the fence to the wood . Putting the 30" tall wood spikes every 5'. The closer you put the wood the more Ridgid the fencing will be. Then, when done I bent the last 6" of fencing not supported and attached to the wood spikes over to create an upside down "L" . Keeps out large leaves but this size openings in fence allow small leaves through. So, get the smaller opening fencing w/ 1/4" openings if you wanna use it to keep our debris in winter. Also keeps cats out of your flower beds asman added bonus.

I used this coated wire for the catio I was building for my 5 cats. I had originally gotten a 1x1 inch vinyl- coated wire (3 x 50 feet) from the orange big box store. But, when inflation hit, the price of that wire increased by 30%. Since I only needed about 10 feet more to complete my catio, because I changed my original design, I looked for something less pricey here on Amazon. I purchased this wire. It's not that the wire is bad; it's not. But, it was not as thick as my original wire. So, if you are looking for a really thickly-coated 16-guaged wire, this is not it. But, if you have a simple use for it, it will probably work.I was not sure how I would cut this wire, but it turned out very easy with simple wire cutters held perpendicular to the cut you want to make. Initially, I used my jigsaw with a metal blade to cut the wire, but it din't have much control because the wires is so thi and wiggley. So, the simple wire cutter tool was perfect, if not a bit longer in time to finish the cut.Overall, this is good wire, but the coating could definitely be thicker. That would have helped with the stablility of the wire overall.

The wire 'seems' less than 16 gauge, though I did not measure it. This 24" wide version is just a lot lighter weight ~13-14# delivery weight than the 36" wide other brand I bought which is ~45#. That one has a much more robust dipped vinyl coating than the lightweight coating on this 24" wide brand. This one was sturdy enough for my purposes, but if I had seen the shipping weight before I ordered it, I would have ordered the heavier brand. Watch the shipping weight so you are not surprised. Both were listed as 16 Ga.
